摘要
It seems necessary for teachers to acquire and develop an adequate level of teacher digital competence (TDC). Technology implementation plans need to be designed and implemented with teacher -related factors in mind. This study explores the teacher's perspective on the practical implementation of the TDC in schools. The approach is qualitative (grounded theory) and information was collected through focus groups. The participants were 40 teachers with expertise in educational technology from different stages of the Community of Madrid. The results show that implementing the TDC should be based on an initial objective evaluation in order to establish a plan at school and teacher level. TDC involves the integration of technologies into the classroom methodology and has a direct impact on students' digital competence learning. It is concluded that the evaluation of the TDC is fundamental, and training should be based primarily on peer learning. It is essential to generate research on the teachers' vision so that educational administrations and other actors base their decisions on the reality and needs of schools.
