No increased risk of diabetes after coronavirus infection in Danish children

摘要
Studien aus den USA und Norwegen zeigten bei Kindern einen Zusammenhang einer COVID-19-Erkrankung mit einem erhohten Risiko fur Typ-1-Diabetes. Dies wurde eine virale Atiologie der Typ-1-Erkrankung nahelegen und bei Kindern fur die SARS-CoV-2-Infektion eine langfristige Komplikation bedeuten. Eine landesweite Register-basierte Studie untersuchte prospektiv das Diabetesrisiko nach einer SARS-CoV-2-Infektion bei danischen Kindern von 0-17 Jahren.
