摘要:
This article presents the result of a state-of-the-knowledge literature review on Rural Early Childhood Education and Teacher Training carried out at the Brazilian Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations (BDTD), between the years 2012 to 2020. 8 works were selected. The result points to issues related to absences, challenges and necessary advances in the area of Early Childhood Education in the Countryside and Teacher Training. It also indicates that the field of research is still incipient. For this reason, a greater commitment from the State in the construction and continuity of public policies is essential, along with investment in training and research development with the municipalities, schools and education professionals responsible for the service, continuing education and organization of pedagogical proposals in rural or urban institutions, which serve the population from 0 to 5 years and 11 months old who live in the countryside.
