摘要
In this study, five genotypes of corn (Zea mays L.) were used, which were sourced from Al-Dabbana Company for Modern Agriculture Ltd., where its seeds were sown during the autumn season 2022 in the fields of a farmer in the Rahmaniyah region, Nineveh province, using the Randomized complete block design (R.C.B.D) with three replicates. The number of days for male flowering, the number of days for female flowering, plant height (cm), number of leaves/plant, area of the main cob leaf (cm(2)), number of hairs per plant, cob length (cm), number of rows per cob, number of grains per row, number of Seeds per cob, weight of 100 grains (g) and yield of individual plant (gm/plant). The results showed that the phenotypic and genetic correlation was negatively significant between individual plant yield, cob length, number of rows per cob, number of grains per row and number of grains per cob. Analysis of the coefficient of the genetic and phenotypic path of grain yield and its components showed that the number of cobs per plant had a direct positive effect.
