The Accessibility of People with Disabilities in the Tulc?n Canton

People with disabilities are a disadvantaged sector in society, since the different activities and constructions are carried out without taking into account their needs. Some countries and international organizations have carried out actions to favor their social welfare, however, they are still insufficient. The government of Ecuador after the proclamation of the Constitution of the year 2008, gave way to the guarantee of rights based on neo-constitutionalism for the best validity and respect of rights, from which the right to accessibility is derived, to comply with the principle equality and equity among citizens. The objective of this work is to analyze the accessibility conditions of people with disabilities in the Tulcan canton that causes violation of their rights established within the constitutional norm.
