摘要
Exogenous factors can induce protein expression and modifytheproteome which sustains for a certain period of time. The proteinsof SARS-CoV-2 are high in valine plus glycine, which possess potentaffinity to divalent cations such as calcium. Calcium buildup changesthe protein expression profile by enabling the efficient synthesisof proteins rich in amino acids with calcium affinity. Subsequentformation of insoluble and stiff calcium oxalate and aggregates conferscellular stress and causes cell senescence. This scenario accountsfor sequelae seen in some patients following recovery from COVID-19.
