The literary construction of interiority in the Confessions of Jeremiah

Since the category of << Confessions >> in the book of Jeremiah was born in the context of Formgeschichte, is it still valid for a synchronic reading? Avoiding anachronistic categories, a series of literary devices can be observed, constructing for the reader an impression of interiority. The << editing effect >> (as we would say for a movie), and the city metaphor, build up the impression of hearing an inner conversation where the reflexive conscience of the prophet appears. These observations lead to the identification of some syntactic forms specific to the Confessions.
