摘要
Cavity spaces in metal-organic cages (MOCs) frequently draw par- allels with enzyme active sites; a cursory comparison of the rela- tive complexities of the two can lead to bewilderment at this anal- ogy. Strategies are now being developed to imbue these artificial microenvironments with higher- level, sophisticated properties and behaviours, moving towards archi- tectures that may justifiably be viewed as artificial analogues of natural systems.
