摘要
This paper addresses the problem of finite-time synchronizing controller for a class of nonlinear systems. Here, we aimed to propose a general procedure which utilizes the backstepping technique for designing the control functions. A step by step mechanism based on Lyapunov stability theory is adopted to obtain the desired synchronizing controllers. Further, synchronization of master-slave configuration of systems belonging to proposed class in finite-time is guaranteed by using the derived control functions. The proposed general procedure for the targeted synchronization task in finite-time leads to reduction of required number of control functions. Numerical simulations of chaotic systems such as Lorenz-Stenflo, Lorenz, and Lu systems reveal the efficiency of the proposed methodology and also verify the theoretical results.
