The article discusses Ladov's proposals for a uniform solution of classical set-theoretic and semantic paradoxes. It is shown that Ladov's approach faces two difficulties. Firstly, the method of eliminating negation from the formulations of paradoxes leads to new paradoxes, which is demonstrated by the example of Loeb's theorem. Secondly, the appeal in Ladov's argumentation to the "Russell scheme" adopted by G. Priest is not significant, due to Priest's dialetheism, according to which contradictions are allowed. The latter circumstance prevents a uniform solution of the paradoxes proposed by Ladov.
