摘要
Objective: In this way, the purpose of this work was to analyze the importance of public policies aimed at family farming in facing the crisis caused by the Covid19 pandemic. Method: A narrative review was carried out, based on a bibliographic research carried out in the Google academic databases, Scielo, Capes and Spell journals, using the descriptors: family agriculture, PAA, PNAE, PRONAF, Covid-19 pandemic. Result: Over the years, some public policies were created in order to help rural producers, highlighting Pronaf, PAA and PNAE. These policies are important in helping small rural producers and also in maintaining food security for vulnerable people. Given that the pandemic has had negative repercussions for various sectors of the economy, including family farming, public policies have become even more essential in this context of crisis. Conclusion: It was possible to identify the main policies aimed at family farming that already exist and the measures taken in the face of the current scenario of the economy, in order to stabilize and encourage the production of these small rural producers. The limitations of the study are highlighted due to the fact that the pandemic is still an ongoing problem, with the information being updated at all times.
