摘要
Irrigation, electric motors, lighting, and other uses of electricity are all becoming increasingly reliant on energy from the sun, making it increasingly vital to integrate solar systems into rural microgrids. In this research, we propose the modelling and management of a non-linear DC/DC converter for use in a photovoltaic (PV)-based microgrid. The primary benefit of this method is that the converter model may be linearized, expanding the range of possible operating points. Both a Single-Ended Primary Inductor converter (SEPIC) and a Boost converter are used to convert electrical power from photovoltaic (PV) modules into a higher voltage form. simulation results using MATLAB are also shown to demonstrate the efficiency of the suggested control.
