Extended ELECTRE I method for decision-making based on 2-tuple linguistic q-rung picture fuzzy sets

摘要
The powerful ELimination and Choice Translating REality (ELECTRE) method is used in this study to increase the number of outranking approaches for the significant and recent extension of fuzzy set theory, known as the 2-tuple linguistic q-rung picture fuzzy sets (2TLq-RPFSs). The 2TLq-RPF-ELECTRE I approach is a major strategy presented in this article that sharply focuses on group decision-making. Utilizing the fundamental ideas of concordance and discordance sets, the suggested approach operates by taking into account the dominance and subordination between alternatives. Our motivation for using the concept of 2TLq-RPFSs is the potential of q-rung picture fuzzy sets to accommodate a wide variety of information and the salient characteristics of 2-tuple linguistic term sets to manage qualitative data. The use of linguistic factors also has the benefit of helping to convey the data through the use of qualitative attributes. In this article, we achieve our goal by proposing a group decision support methodology, called 2TLq-RPF-ELECTRE I in the adaptable 2TLq-RPF structure, keeping in mind the stronger ability of the 2TLq-RPF model to manage unclear information. To facilitate the readers, the proposed 2TLq-RPF-ELECTRE I approach is also presented through a diagrammatic representation. To test the usefulness of the proposed methodology, two numerical examples are used: choosing the best augmented reality solution and choosing eco-friendly suppliers. These practical examples are demonstrated by employing the developed technique. Furthermore, the detailed stepwise implementation procedure is given through necessary calculations. System flow diagrams are used to graphically represent the outranking findings and to illustrate the structure of the suggested technique. A comparison analysis is ultimately conducted to validate the developed technique.
