摘要
Cardio-oncology is an integral component of the treatment of patients with cancer. Due to the improved long-term prognosis, the complex spectrum of oncological therapies and cardiovascular comorbidities, the best possible prevention, diagnostics and treatment of cancer therapy-associated cardiovascular side effects continues to gain importance. In the following, strategies for monitoring, appropriate diagnostic modalities and treatment options are summarized using anthra cycline chemotherapy as an example. A special focus is placed on the best possible drug treatment as well as on the positive effects of exercise inpreventing anthracycline-associated cardiovascular side effects.
