摘要
China has shown rapid technological development in recent years; however, in the future decades, China, like the globe, will confront increasingly severe repercussions of climate change, such as floods and drought. Therefore, the current study examines the role of Natural Resources (NTR), Globalization (GLB), and Renewable Energy Consumption (REC) in Environmental Pollution (CO2). Moreover, this study employed a sophisticated timeseries estimate technique called Bootstrap ARDL to consider pivotal factors inside a Chinese setting. The BARDL shows the results of NTR explaining CO2 as positive and significant, GLB explaining CO2 as positive and significant, and REC explaining CO2 as negative and significant in both the long and short run. No matter how important the elements under study are to a nation's economy, they all contribute to CO2 levels either rising or falling. Therefore, it is recommended that based on the respective significance, proper planning, and subsequent execution must be done regarding these factors.
