摘要
A resonant piezoelectric rotary motor using parallel moving gears mechanism is proposed, designed, fabricated and tested. The piezoelectric motor uses a vibrator to make the stator generate a planar circular translational movement, driving the stator (inner gear) to mesh with the rotor (outer gear), and finally outputs a decelerated rotational motion through a non-frictional method. The structure of the piezoelectric motor is designed and simulated using the finite element method. The working principle of the motor is analysed, and mechanical equivalent model are built to analyse the vibration modes of the vibrator. Nine experimental prototypes with different resonance frequencies and transmission ratios are fabricated and tested. Experimental results show that the output power of the prototype with a resonant frequency of 96 Hz and a transmission ratio of 57 is 1.208 W at 100 r/min under 600 Vp-p voltage excitation, and the working efficiency is 16.71%. Those proving the feasibility of the proposed motor and providing a new method of piezoelectric motor with high power and efficiency.
