摘要
This article analyzes the political-social conflict involved in media lynching in a society. Part of the historical conflict of honor and honor, to then achieve a conceptual approximation of the terms, with an explanation from the social communication of the handling of this behavior of manipulation between people and mass media. After a legal review of the Ecuadorian case, which has been the first country to legislate on this phenomenon of media lynching, exposes the debate between the articles of the law the taking of positions, until concluding in a failure to penalize it.
