摘要
Sex and age differences influence presentation and prognosis across PA types. Educational activities targeting an earlier diagnosis can improve patient care. Despite robust epidemiologic evidence of higher PA in Blacks, these patients encounter dis-parities regarding access to specialized pituitary centers and surgical treatment recommendation. Same pattern was noted for Hispanic, low income, and uninsured or government insured patients with PA. Along with health care policy changes, future research targeting a more granular understanding of inequalities is important to address current shortcomings in patient care.
