摘要
This article aims to share the experience of a large academic medical center's journey to build a highly engaged, strong-performing, and productive Evidence-Based Practice, Research, and Innovation Shared Governance Council. An experi-ential learning approach was initiated to further engage and teach staff nurse council members about evidence-based practice (EBP) and research. Using monthly council meetings, the Evidence-Based Practice, Research, and Innovation Council successfully completed 1 EBP project and 1 research project. Staff nurses appreci-ated the connection between research, EBP, and the development/refinement of nursing policies.
