Hatred, political correctness and the poetics: Three notes on the relationship between the ominous and the sublime

Based on Slavoj 2izek's approach to the Lacanian concept ofjouissance in order to prob-lematise Kantian ethics, the scope and possibilities of the link between ethics and politics in the current situation are explored. With this purpose, the Althusserian gravitation in 2izek's thinking is revisited and a counterpoint is proposed with Michel Pecheux's con-tributions on the connections between jouissance and phantom, based on the category of equivocity. Finally, a conjecture is developed regarding the inherent politicity of the poetic dimension of discourse as a possibility of political openness
