摘要
Dc microgrid is much relevant when source and loads are both dc. Among available dc microgrid architectures bipolar dc (BPDC) microgrid is versatile and desirable but, many switching devices and diodes are required to feed power to the BPDC microgrid poles. To use optimally these devices a novel non-isolated boost-zeta single input dual output type multiport converter with an input parallel output series combination of switching cells is proposed here. This kind of configuration of proposed converter which gives output lines of positive, negative and neutral potentials makes it suitable for low voltage bipolar dc microgrid application. The suggested converter offers advantages such as continuous input current, no shoot-through issue, multiple output voltages, and non-pulsating output current for one of the 24 V loads. This converter is cost effective, dependable and efficient. A small signal analysis is carried out using state space averaging technique to design the controller. Loss estimation and efficiency analysis of the proposed converter is also presented. Finally, a laboratory prototype is built as a proof of concept to verify the theoretical analysis and simulation results under various operating conditions.
