摘要
The saturation overflow stability problem for two-dimensional (2-D) digital filters in Roesser model is studied in this brief. By perceptive utilization of the 2-D system dynamics, a novel global asymptotic stability (GAS) criterion (together with its equivalent form) for the considered system is derived. The criterion is compared with the existing GAS criteria. An example is given for instancing the usefulness of the criterion.
