摘要
Psychosomatic disorders, such as premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD) and vulvodynia, but also mental illnesses and psychological stress during pregnancy and breastfeeding or in oncological diseases are frequently encountered in gynecological care. Affected women usually feel helpless and insecure. A high performance demand and little room for self-care increase the psychological stress. This often leads to women keeping silent out of guilt and shame and not talking about it of their own accord during treatment. Actively asking about the patient's condition and stress is therefore an important element of treatment. Appreciative communication techniques and a multimodal treatment approach against the background of the biopsychosocial stress model can stabilize the patient's self-efficacy and lead to recovery.
