摘要
Cinema, and more specifically science fiction (or sci-fi), implies non-formal learning of science content and its social role. Some researchers have confirmed that sci-fi cinema introduces a biased vision of science, of scientific people, and of its role in the future, as well as scientific errors that promote alternative conceptions in students. To overcome these incorrect visions and some alternative ideas, activities based on pieces of sci-fi films are carried out to encourage dialogue, argumentation, and the participation of secondary school students. The results show that these activities help students improve their learning of the concepts addressed and what they make of science and scientific work.
