Scalp acupuncture belongs to the cate-gory of small-needle therapy and is themethod of treating general diseases by need-ling Shu acupoints in the hair-area scalp.Since 1970s,it has been widely applied,andbecome so far an effective acupuncturetherapy accepted by acupuncturists all overthe world.Clinically,the therapy can beused to treat more than 80 diseases,with ma-rked therapeutic effects particularly on dis-eases of the central nervous system and onvarious acute or chronic pains.
