摘要：

If we want to sum up the reasons for the formation of American democratic characteristics from Tocqueville’s statements,it can be summed up in three aspects,one is geographical environment,the other is legal system,and the third is people’s feelings.And according to the view of institutionalism school,the one is institutional restriction,the other is democratic norm,and the third is culture.
