摘要：

Cooperative learning has developed into a creative and effective teaching theory and strategy. Cooperative learning can not only motivate students’ initiative and enthusiasm in learning, but promote the interaction between the teacher and students.This paper analyzes the connotations and benefits of cooperative learning, explores reasons for existing problems in the application of cooperative learning in college English teaching and presents strategies for effective implementation of cooperative learning.
