NSFC President Meets with JST Counterpart

On March 8,Prof.Yang Wei,President of National Natural Science Foundation of China(NSFC)received a Japanese delegation headed by Dr.Michiharu Nakamura,President of Japan Science and Technology Agency(JST).Prof.Yang delivered a welcome address at the beginning of the meeting and then briefed the delegation about the latest developments of NSFC.Dr.Nakamura extended his appreciation to Prof.Yang for taking the time to meet him and expressed his hope to strengthen bilateral cooperation on global chanllenges such as energy,environment,aging society,disaster prevention and health care.Prof.Yang gave positive response to Dr.Nakamura’s suggestion and noted that the two sides should continue to deepen cooperation in biology and medicine.
