The present paper is divided into three parts. In part I, the concept of fractional integration in the sense of Weyl is introduced. In part Ⅱ, several theorems concerning the proparties of fractional integrals are established. In the last part we consider the approximation of functions of two variables by trigonometrical polynomials.
