BYD will increase the guidance prices of several models under the Dynasty, Ocean and Denza series from January 1, 2023, ranging from RMB 2,000 to RMB 6,000. BYD announced the above news on November 23rd. BYD explained that the price increase is due to the fact that national subsidy policy for new energy passenger cars will be terminated on December 31, 2022, as well as a significant increase in the price of major raw materials for batteries in the second half of 2022.
