摘要
1.IntroductionIt is well known that the efficiency and power factor of thesolid-rotor induction motor are lower than those of the cage rotor in-duction motor due to larger leakage reactance.Therefore,conduct-ing end rings are often fitted to rotor ends to improve motor per-formance.Most of the analyses on the solid-rotor induction motorwith end rings have assumed that the motor is of infinite core lengthand tangential current in the rotor to be negligible.
