摘要：
The intrinsic and extrinsic features of the father in The Road as a"Tough Guy"are to be analyzed. For the inner world, heis calm towards the living environments, decisive when faced the emergency and persistent in dignity and morality. For the actions,he is active in seeking foods, brave in fighting with the enemies and gentle with his son. Finally, the conclusion is drawn that the fa-ther is a"Tough Guy".
