Henrik Ibsen’ s A Doll’ s House is from head to toe a feminist piece of work, in which many feminist issues are indicated, such as some stereotypes of women, women’ s subordinated role, and men’ s dominance in the social, economical, and religious sphere, etc. This essay focuses on Nora’ s awakening gender consciousness in order to reveal how women are oppressed by men in the gender world.
