摘要：

Cultural confidence represents a fundamental and profound force that sustains the development of a country and a na-tion. It is also a prerequisite for college students’ growth and development. Given phenomena such as college students’ alienationfrom Chinese culture and"Chinese culture aphasia", this paper tries to analyze the reasons behind it. It then states the significanceand ways of helping college students build up cultural confidence through English teaching in the context of new liberal arts.
