The Role and Implication of Motivation in Second Language Acquisition(SLA)

Motivation is one of the most important factors that affect foreign language learning.As it is affected by various factors,it becomes very complicated. Therefore, it is of great significance for foreign language teachers to explore how to motivate their students to become autonomous learners based on the overview of motivation studies in foreign language learning. This paper analyzes motivation factors on influencing learners in foreign language learning and explores some suggestions for motivating learner’s learning.
