摘要：

Defoe lived a life from the 17th to the 18th century when capitalism was arising and struggling with feudalism,gradually strengthening its role in the process of human being.As a capitalist,Defoe expressed the advanced idea in his novel.However,liberalism could come into being with the appearance of capitalism at the same time,and be viewed as a ramification of it.Therefore,we could understand the characteristics of capitalism at that time and the nature of their wealth by deeply analyzing Robinson Crusoe.The purpose of this paper exposed the sinful deed of the capitalism in their early period.This paper employs three qualities of liberalism:individualism,liberalism,and equality to analyze Robinson Crusoe.
