Recently Bayer Material Science has com-menced construction work to expand itsPolymer Research and Development Cen-tre(PRDC)in Pudong,Shanghai.Whencompleted,the PRDC will be BayerMaterialScience’s first facility in Asia Pa-cific to host technical development andresearch facilities for its four businessunits operating in the region:Polyurethanes;Polycarbonates;Coatings,Adhesives and Sealants;and Thermo-plastic Polyurethanes.Each of these busi-ness units will have the full capacity toprovide technical service,new applicationdevelopment,as well as training for staff
