The opening ceremony (November 1,1947)

Founded in 1947,the First Affiliated Hospital,Zhejiang University School of Medicine (FAHZU),is the earliest affiliated hospital of Zhejiang University.It has now evolved into a national-level hospital integrating health care,medical education,scientific research and preventative care.FAHZU has six campuses with near 5000 beds.The year 2022 has witnessed over 10.7 million outpatient and emergency visits and 373 600 discharges.The Qingchun Campus,equipped with 1900 beds,covers asite area of over 12.5 acres and a floor area of 1.9 million ft2.
