Panax ginseng was cultured on Murashige and Skoog’s (MS) medium containing 2,4-dichloro-phenoxyacetic acid (2,4-D) and 6-benzyl amino purine (6-BA) in the dark for 1—2 months, from whose anther callus was induced. After the callus was proliferated through subcultures, there occurred slowly a few yellow granular cell aggregates, when 2,4-D concentration was reduced and 6-BA was withdrawn from
