摘要
A sufficient condition of asymptotic stability is obtained for multivariable systems whose system matrices are of the block Schwartz form. By using this condition a method of stability analysis for multivariable systems is proposed. The system matrix of the control canonical form with square matrices as its elements is transformed to a matrix of the block Schwartz form by elementary equivalent transformations. Then a generalized Routh criterion for multivariable systems is obtained.
