The origins of the failure of Great Leap Forward

Introduction The Great Leap Forward (GLF) campaign, which occurred at the end of the 1950s, was an exploration to economic construction of China. Although this movement under the leadership of Communist Party of China (CPC), had a good rational aim at the beginning, it finally became an irrational disaster to China’s state construction. Despite the goal of the GLF being construction of an economic system in China, it finally became a fiasco.
