Success in applying deep learning in speech recogni-tion had triggered a resurgence of interests in deeplearning, starting around 2010. Since then, deeplearning has been applied with remarkable results tomany problems, such as image recognition, speech and imagesynthesis, natural language processing, finance and artificial in-telligence such as game playing.
