Malignant Neurofibroma of the Right Radius: Report of a Case. Tsao Chin-hao, Department of Radiology, a PLA Air Force Hospital, Zhonghua Yixue Zazhi 57(8):469, 1977. While bone tumor arising in the nerve tissue is rare, development of malignancy in neurofibroma of the bone is even rarer. A case of malignant aeurofibroma of the right radius confirmed by X-ray and pathology is reported. A 50-year-old male complained of a swollen and painful right wrist of 8 months’ duration. Enquiry revealed that he had sprained the wrist while carrying a heavy load at that time, slight swelling was noted the next day, but it had gradually disappeared 1 week after. 40 days later, he found the wrist was swelling slowly without redness. He felt distension and pain there especially on movement.
