The importance of the tubal factor, in sterility has been variouslyestimated by different writers. Some authorities have reported thattubal occlusion is responsible for sterility in as many as 60 per cent ofsterile marriages, while others have been more conservative in theirestimates. It is at least well recognized, therefore, that inflammatorylesions of the Fallopian `ubes are respdrrsible for a high percentage ofall cases of sterility.
