摘要：

Teachers’ language is one important part in college English teaching.Politeness is regarded as a powerful strategy in dealing with interpersonal interaction.Based on Lakoff’s Polite Model,Leech’s Politeness Principle,and Brown & Levinson’s Politeness Theory,the author of this paper aims to explore politeness in teachers’ language in the classroom context.
