China and ASEAN will focus their cooperation on fighting the COVID-19 pandemic, according to Chinese Ambassador to ASEAN Deng Xijun.At a virtual press conference in Jakarta on September 14, Deng stated that China, which is among world leaders in COVID-19 vaccine research and development, will further strengthen information sharing with ASEAN countries and conduct cooperation on vaccine research,development, production, and distribution.
