摘要：

In recent years,there has been an increasing interest in teachers’ roles in the field of education.Wajnryb(2007) states that "an important aspect of effective teaching is the facility with which a teacher can move in and out of these various roles and enable learners to do likewise." This essay uses images of doctor,helper and performer to describe the range of roles that a teacher performs in my mind according to some literature and my teaching experience.
