摘要：

College English is an important compulsory course in universities for non-English majors. Non-English majors’ English level is not obviously improved though various teaching reforms have been done. In recent years, the new language teaching mode — flipped classroom teaching attracted our attention. This article introduces and discusses the definition, the effects and the implementation paths of flipped classroom. It hopes to improve college English teaching and learning both for the teachers and students.
