摘要：
Chronic problems have led to great uncertainty in the South Asian country Sri Lanka is suffering its worst economic crisis since its independence in 1948.The ongoing crisis has resulted in collapse of the currency, rising inflation, and a severe shortage of essentials,which have led to an eruption of street protests and strikes in many parts of the country.
