Environmental regulations in the United States have had a significant impact on the United States economy.This work analyzes how various types of environmental regulations impact the economy,and how deregulation would possibly affect the economy.Environmental regulations in the United States include,but are not limited to,restriction on pollution emissions,air quality regulations,ozone regulations,coal regulations,and natural gas and crude oil regulations.The results demonstrate that rolling back environmental regulations would result in higher productivity,higher GDP,lower costs for citizens to utilize energy,and increased employment opportunities.
